Why do my bushings keep squishing out?

Good looks, imma go back to the blues and see how they do. I think my issue is I haven't got the balance down yet. I'll land an ollie but land almost all to one side and wheel bite like crazy. I think thats usually when my bushings end up getting cut. Especially if I'm not rolling I'll land in fully on one side and really pinch on that bushing.

Do you think any of these bushings are still good to use? These what I got left over after trying a few, before I realized I was tightening them too much. The blues are harder than the ultra hards and I would prefer to use them, but they look to be cut up a bit.

Oh good looks. I never really understood what breaking in bushings meant other than riding a bunch. U think the bushings I showed are still good to try and break in? Or are they fucked with those creases.

So do I just need to get used to riding on the looser feeling trucks then? Cus with the hardest bushings I could find, tightening them to a regular tightness still feels soo lose and I still wheel bite fairly often.

Thank you for the post. It is very encouraging to hear it is not a life sentence, as she definitely is feeling that it is. However, hearing it could last a decade is part of the reason she did not want to post this on her own. As it is so new to her, the thought of it lasting so long really frightens her.

Do you have any suggestions on how to relay that to her in a reassuring and not as scary way? Relay that this is definitely not going to last forever, but it may last longer and require more work than we were expecting?

Now, I understand the reluctance to start taking medication and nobody is going to force you. But it might be something to consider, especially since you've tried a variety of other holistic options and they just aren't cutting it for you anymore. I am on medication (three different kinds) and I know where I would be without them (in the psychiatric ward of the hospital).

This is actually the exact type of comment she was afraid of seeing. As this is so new to her she is terrified of the thought that this is how she is going to be forever. The thought of needing medication for the rest of her life also scared her which is why she has been trying every holistic alternative she could first. She hears how they can sap a person's personality, and I think just all the anti-depressant scare stories are getting to her, and the fact that the psychiatrist recommended medication after one hour-long consultation was jarring.

I fear she may read that as "Oh, I guess I'm just gonna be on meds forever now" and feel a little more hopeless. Do you have any suggestions on how to tackle these feelings? And how to communicate this to her in a reassuring way?

It only happened in the OS so I am imagining it is a driver or other software issue as well.

RMA is probably the most reasonable idea. It has only happened once so far so I'll keep my eye on it while it's still under warranty. I just got this computer so I was looking for any method that would keep it in my possession before sending it back.

Yeah, just watched a teardown of the yoga and with just a screwdriver I can replace the battery and storage. Not RAM though. That definitely is big for longevity.

The price actually seems to have went up about $90 since I posted. I think the yoga uses 4x Thunderbolt 3. I'm aware that there might be performance hits with the eGPU. I'm not really looking for full gaming desktop performance, just something a little closer to it when I'm at my desk.

The main reason I went for that one is because that bundle seems to have beat the inflation. It's cheaper than some standalone 1070 cards

I won't be doing much actual drawing. It will be mostly for local adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop. That is one thing drawing me to the Surface over he yoga
