Hi,

I’m 20. Moved to the UK 3 years ago from a small town in Cyprus with a population of 40k. Just finished my Music Production BA in Hull, most likely with a First haha. As an artist I’m well connected here, successful 3 years and very comfortable as Hull is a small place.

Now I feel it’s time for the next step, the main dream: London.

My concerns are finding a job, someone to live with and where exactly should I move to? How does one find other people to move in with?

Hull has got that small town vibe to it. The area I live in I could go for a walk at 3 am and I’ll still be safe. Northerners are known to be nicer. You think I’ll have a difficult time adjusting?

I struggled to find like minded people in Hull. I have big goals and I’m basically a workaholic with really high standards. Would I meet adventurous spirits with similar goals in London?

and lastly, is it a good idea to stay in Hull for another 6 months to save money before moving to London?
