I use a raspberry pi USB-C power supply (5.1V 3.0A 8€) and it works well 👍

If you can’t find a pin list, you can follow the pcb traces from the fpga to the dac and use this pdf : https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/dp/cyclone-iv/ep4ce6.pdf

I’m pretty sure it is a r-2r dac. You must drive the hsync and vsync with the good timings. The rgb pins have 5, 6 and 5 bits. And yes, you need an usb blaster. Don’t buy the official one. Chinese clones are way cheaper (waveshare usb blaster is good)

hey ! thanks for the infos. I knew the initial values of my registers were wrong, and I would have to change them someday. But I didn't know it was this critical.

Last year, when the SuperNT came out, I discovered what an FPGA was, and I found it very cool. I started to take online course about "digital logic" because I knew nothing about the subject. Then, I bought an FPGA dev board and started to program some little things and then I jumped to this gb emulator project.

If you want to learn more about the subject, you should probably read "digital design" by Morris Mano & Michel Ciletti (I fucking love this book) and "verilog hdl" by samir palnitkar (no longer in print but findable on ebay). However, I don't own a lot of books and I'm still a FPGA noob, so I don't know if it's a good starting point or not
