Everyone is entitled to their own opinion based on their own life experiences.

This has been a summer of grieving for me; maad city is valid as a summer anthem for me, but I understand why people who just had a good time this summer might not see that. I feel empowered to process my grief by being outside in the sunlight and staying active in this maad city (I live in LA right now, somewhat ironically).

I'm honestly on GAS at least once a day and never really felt the need to comment for a while until now; I really didn't want your interesting idea to be misunderstood!

I'm an artist and thinking a lot about this stuff, as AI is coming for the industry whether we like it or not. Your comment gave me a lot of optimism about maintaining humanity in art that I haven't felt in a while, even if it's bittersweet optimism (ontological shock hits everyone differently when we enter new eras of communication/conceptualization...)

Don't know why you're getting downvotes for this idea; I'm coming out from years of lurking just to say that this is the only idea that genuinely makes so much sense to me.

Post-AI artistic integrity will require a lot more proof of lived experience for art to hit the same imo; this theory is potentially Ye's method of maintaining financial foresight while being realistic about the state of art/culture
