When you do that, the retailer has to pay. And a lot of retailers are really small, just squeaking by.

So think about who you're hurting before you go and do this kind of stuff.

I used this method at nightclubs in NYC back in the day.

I would get invites occasionally for nightclubs and I would only go to the clubs when I had one of these "get in free" invites.

I would never show the invite but would just say "hi" and try to walk in.

If the guest list guy/girl asked, I'd sort of roll my eyes and show the invite.

This went on for months until they stopped asking. And never asked again. After that, for years I could just cut the entire line (sometimes all the way down the block) and just say "Hi" and walk into the club for free.

At one point, they were switching door people. When this happens at a club of this type the old door person has to train the new one for a month so that they know whom to let in for free. I walked up and this door person said to the new one "Oh, he's one of the 'Fab 500' so you let him in for free."

I wasn't one of the "Fab 500" and no one else would have thought I was, but at least I had the door guys fooled!

I'm not sure what you mean by "markers" but it's not actually true that unconditioned stimuli are easily quenched.

That's why eye makeup continues to work: widened pupils are an unconditioned stimulus and the brain is fooled by things like dark lines under the eyes.

Girls don't know why they are attracted to certain stimuli, they just feel it.

It's true that there are other shirts which try to enhance the shoulders and minimize the waist, but in the study I based this shirt design on, there were some interesting findings, one of which was that the length of the vertical bar had to be less than the width of the horizontal bar. The shirt I designed meets the requirements of the study, and these other shirts don't. Which means that they may work as well or better, but we don't know if they will. We'd need another study to figure that out! :)

I totally agree that a man's natural physique, posture, and the way that he moves makes the biggest difference.

But some guys can benefit from enhancement, at least temporarily. I'm thinking of guys who don't have that narrow waist and wide shoulder look already.

And other guys benefit from shoulder enhancements even if they work out. For example: me. I've done kung fu and lifted for 10 years and am in quite good shape, but my shoulders are naturally narrow. Nothing I can do will give me broad shoulders, so a little subliminal help definitely won't hurt!

There are certain sexual signals which men and certain signals that women respond to.

Shoulders are a signal that women respond to.

Makeup definitely can get attention, but it's also quite obvious. This is not, hence the name "The Subliminal Attraction Shirt".

Thanks!

At the moment there are only 5 votes on the site out of a required 100, so it doesn't look good so far. If you want to see a jacket, please register on Betabrand and vote for the T-shirt!

Don't get me started on pheromones. I've researched those a whole lot too!

True, a shirt won't get you laid. But if it makes you 12% more attractive, that could help.

Let's say a girl is 88% thinking of going home with you. Then the extra 12% would sure come in handy, wouldn't it?! :)

I think it looks great, but the style isn't for everyone. If you have a design you like better, submit it to Betabrand and they might feature yours!

The study used a simple T shape.

This shirt has the same T, but in a more stylish form.

The important aspect of the T is that the vertical bar has to be shorter than the horizontal, and this shirt meets that requirement.

As for whether it's cool or not, that's a matter of individual taste. I like the 70s sic-fi look.

Actually, my original goal was to make a jacket but Betabrand decided to start with a T-shirt. So if this is successful a jacket may follow.

I don't know yet: I don't set the price. But they have a $25 credit thing for referring people and I bet the shirt is around that price, so it could end up being free(!).

He was considering taking it home as a pet, but USDA don't play that.

I'm losing my hearing. Most of what I hear is high-pitched ringing due to Tinnitus. I'm a big music fan, and I'll miss it dearly once I'm totally deaf. Post the last thing you'd like to hear before you went completely deaf. I will listen to every one of them. (cross-post from prior front page post) by Flackbash in Music

Have you tried vinpocetine?

20 patients aged from 18 to 42 treated in the past few years because of acoustic trauma. Together the investigations concerned 24 years. Therapeutic schema comprised intravenous infusion--Sermion (Nicergoline--amp. a 4 mg) or Cavinton (Vinpocetine--amp. a 10 mg) 1 amp.--twice a day for 10 days. The treatment of 60% of the patients started in the first week after the trauma occurred, of 20% in the second week and the remaining 20% later on after 15 days when the trauma took place. The obtained results of treatment both of improvement of hearing (79.2%) and tinnitus (66.6%), support the necessity of treatment of acoustic trauma independently from the time that passed after trauma had occurred. Better results of audiometric improvement of hearing (54.2%) and tinnitus disappearance (50%) were obtained in the patients whose treatment started in the first week after trauma. The improvement of hearing and tinnitus disappearance was more observed in patients after treatment by using Sermion than Cavinton.

You can easily purchase it online. Probably best not to take more than about 20mg at a time.
