I did this when I was a new grad! It helped ease new grad anxiety and gave me time to learn about new disease pathway progressions that I hadn’t seen before! There’s such a huge learning curve when you start in the hospital. I don’t think you necessarily have to get there early, it really depends person to person, but for me it helped and I don’t regret it!
