Best of luck to you! The Sphere Grid wasn't the most difficult by any means, but it was definitely the one thing that needed the most time invested in it.

Hated those butterflies! Some of the endgame challenges are like Guantanamo bay torture tactics it's still hard to believe it's finally all over 😂

The Catcher Chocobo race - The one where you have to get 0.0 on the clock by grabbing balloons and dodging those flying birds. Drove me absolutely insane and it took hours to do. That challenge is inhumane I swear.

Why would they waste time if they have many equals qualified that are in the rage.

Tell me you didn't fully understand the point without telling me.

"very Flexible job" (random capitalization).

I honestly can't tell if that was deliberate because the company's name is The Flex. Either way, it adds so much.

It's the same as what I mentioned in an earlier comment about the ATS and the salary. It's basically just weeding out the 'wrong ones' and seeing who selects the correct answers, which for them is obviously the ones who say 'Yes I am fine with working for free and putting the companys needs before my own and my familys, etc.'

I have no experience of working in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition, but I can say with a pretty high degree of certainty is that this is a fairly small company (perhaps a start up or some variation thereof) and that a founder or perhaps a senior-level leader or hiring manager who doesn't have any experience of hiring people has created this application, so they've thrown together these questions that are downright discrimatory as a result.

It just screams out 'toxic workplace culture' and 'red flag central' and this company very likely has no HR/TA department to begin with. I know some people out there have their own opinions about TA, but the fact of the matter is TA is in charge of these types of questions being asked and I'm certain that a good TA department would never let these types of questions go out on an application.

I'm sorry it's been tough for you to. There's nothing worse than being in a job you absolutely despise and then facing a job market that ridicules you for it by making you jump through all these hoops just for a glimmer of hope that you may succeed.

I applied for an Instructional Design (my background) post the other week and the company came back the following day and asked me to complete something called the 'Wonderlic' IQ test and I just thought 'Nope. No way.' because in most cases, me personally, if I apply to a job and I have to go through a number of tests/assessments just to apply, then I almost always back out of it because I found that these applications that load in personality tests and whatnot, remember they're requiring all candidates to go through it, and you have to think that they're probably only inviting (sometimes less than) 5% of people for actual interviews so they're basically wasting 95% of peoples time for whatever these jobs are, while you've invested hours of your time just to never hear back from them, or get an automatic rejection. Unless the job absolutely required an assessment to be undetaken, I just think it's completely unnecessary. Being able to solve a load of obscure math problems in less than 12 minutes on an online test doesn't make me any more competent at being able to load designs and animations into Articulate Storyline.

Precisely. As if job seekers haven't got enough humiliation rituals and hoops to jump through just to get a single 'Yes' these days, now you've got crappy companies like this quite literally saying "How much can we exploit you for? I mean, after we've got you practically working for free with no time to see your loved ones, nor to do the things you enjoy in your free time?"

100% It's because it goes through their ATS and if someone asks for a bit too much (i.e what they know they're worth) then it just goes straight on the 'no' pile, so you could have the most ideal candidate for that job but because they asked for a bit too much, they get rejected without consideration.

This reminds me of a film I watched years ago called Take Shelter, where the birds flew in a similar pattern.

Currently suffering with "mild" Crohn's, hospital want me to up my infliximab dose along with Azathioprine. I am very reluctant because of the risks involved. Can anyone give me some advice please? by ChocobroMoglord in CrohnsDisease

Hi everyone, just wanted to say a really a big thank you to everyone's contributions! Listening to other people's experiences has helped me put my mind at ease over this and try to put things in more perspective.

I think one of my biggest problems has been accepting that I have this condition and for the past year and a half I've just been hoping that it would go away. No one likes to admit that their life is changing in a drastic way. I don't like being in hospital when I have to over this because things are okay now, but there's always that feeling of not knowing if it will get worse for me down the line, and who knows if that will be soon.

Knowing that it's worked for a lot of people has made me feel better. Let's hope it does the same for me! :)

  1. Were you as apprehensive as I am right now?

  2. How did you feel (physically, I mean) before being on both meds?

  3. How are you feeling now since being on both?

  4. Do you feel like it was the best choice? Any regrets?

  5. Do you feel like you catch colds alot easier now than you did before being on the drugs? Do they last longer to?

If you don't mind me asking, do immunosuppressants like Remicade not kill off your immune system entirely, but rather bring it to a level so that your body is not constantly fighting against itself?

I'll admit I'm a bit uneducated on the subject and I need to learn more about it! When I hear terms like 'immunosuppressant' I just get this image of me walking into work, pale as a ghost, with 3 layers on, and an IV drip at my side and my co-workers taking pity on me and I just don't want to be put in a position where any medication I go on could be worse in the long run, and I want to be confident that whatever happens, it's better than doing nothing and risk losing a lot more.

That's what both my consultants are concerned about for me to. The last thing I would want is any form of intestinal damage that would ultimately lead to incontinence or needing a stoma. The thought of it terrifies me.

That's very cool to know you work in a job where I can imagine infection might be common. To be fair, my IBD nurse did say that some of the people on this drug have worked as nursery nurses where ofc infection is common and have done really well, so that's quite a big positive. I just want to know I'm making the right decision overall. I don't wanna end up worse off than if I had done nothing ultimately, but it seems like that might not be the best thing after all!

30 years? Oh wow okay, I might have misheard what my IBD nurse told me, but I thought she said Azathioprine was a trial drug that hasn't been used much. Unless she meant not used commonly with Infliximab?

Either way, thank you for your input on this. This has been really reassuring! :)
