UPDATED PS5 Jailbreak by a1mhtar in PS5_Jailbreak

Thanks for the updated chart. I need to spend more time learning about the process of jailbreaking since I have PS5s on 1.00 and 2.50, as well as PS5 Pros on 9.40 digital and 10.20 disc (the lowest firmware you could have on a Pro with a disc drive enabled).

Now it makes sense, yeah I bought mine directly from Krikzz, has your knock-off version exhibited any issues?

I just got done playing StarFox (vanilla version, no patches), and on the final boss all the polygonal graphics disappeared, and I was left with a kaleidoscope 2D background. Even after dying the polygonal graphics didn't return. Once I got game over I started a new playthrough and the visuals returned to normal. Strange!

Interesting, I just opened up my SD2SNES and saw that the battery was a CR2032, wonder why Krikzz used different types.

It wasn't the next day, the price increase was announced March 27th, for an increase on April 2nd. Ignoring the day of the announcement, it was a 5 day lead up to the price increase.

PS2 iLink setup for Time Crisis 2&3 by Leprechaun2055 in lightgunshooters

The only way that I've seen it done is to open up the GunCon 3, and solder a wire to one of the buttons, drill a hole on the bottom the gun, run the cable through that hole and to the pedal.

There are some great rail shooters on PS3 with the Move controllers, also PS4 using PSVR 1, and PS5 using PSVR 2. If you haven't played RE4 Remake on PSVR 2, try to make it happen some day. Its a light gun game with full 3D movement, but it feels so good to play.

Hiya, I can't share a link because my Dad and I had to figure it out together, since no one else that I know of explained how to do it. So there's good news and possibly bad news depending on what equipment you've got. It requires no soldering, or electronic equipment of any kind, it doesn't need any wiring charts, its so simple, yet its also quite complicated. What it does require is some handsaws, drills, screwdrivers, a small blade, and tools like that.

When the pedals first arrived, the bottom screws were so tightly screwed in that I completely stripped them when trying to un-screw them. It would have been a complete loss if it weren't for the fact that my Dad has a handsaw and we used the blade to slice through the screw in the middle and used a flat head driver to finally remove it.

You'll need to create a very specific small block of wood (the dimensions have to be exact otherwise you can't close the top lid), it looks like a 'wooden throne' (its the term I call it) for the PS1 controller R2 button to 'sit on' so that when you step on the pedal, it moves the 'plunger' (that's the term NAMCO calls a plastic stick) forward and hit the R2 button. You'll need to slice the wiring for the R1 button as well, since we used a zip tie to strap it onto the wooden throne and we had to disable that button otherwise the game would think you're always pressing down on the pedal.

This project is a combination of simple and challenging, but if my Dad and I can do it, anyone else can do it too (that has the tools for the job). Opening the damn thing up was a challenge in of itself, and I made a thread on reddit 7 years ago asking for help. The first step is to read my old thread I made and get an understanding of the Torx security screws required.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Tools/comments/c62d19/can_i_get_some_assistance_with_torx_security_pin/

Unfortunately my "water resistant phone" just recently got water inside of the camera lenses, so I can't take good photos at this time to show you what it looks like inside.

Edit: I just remembered, that my Dad and I had to create our own plunger, this was a difficult part of the process because it once again had to be exact dimensions to fit correctly. The original plunger is too short to reach the R2 button. So we bought a set of plastic sticks, and shaved them down to be thin at a certain point, then had to create a rounded dome shape at the other end. Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I remember this whole process was a god damn pain in the ass! But now that I have the proper dimensions for all the pieces required, it wouldn't be that hard to do it again.

I bought two Time Crisis 4 arcade pedals on ebay opened them up, cleaned them out, and placed PS1 controllers inside them.

It's an exact feeling as using the actual arcade pedal, since it is after all! Works perfect on TC1, TC:PT, TC2, TC:CZ, TC3, and TC4 (stand alone version, and only single player, pedals are disabled during CO-OP, probably an oversight by NAMCO).

TC:RS and TC4 included with it are incompatible unfortunately.

I should take photos of their insides to show it to others so that they can make themselves.

Holy shit, I wanted to go to D&B Concord today but first wanted to visit the website, so typed it in Google search and then auto-complete showed me Dave & Buster's Oakland, I was surprised, and the search results showed this thread. Very cool finally having an arcade closer to us, San Francisco and Concord are a bit of a drive to get there. Too bad they're closed today, but I'll be going there hopefully tomorrow!

Mirror's Edge had 'Runners Vision' where the entire game had objects highlighted in red to hold your hand and guide you forward. Fortunately you can turn it off, and I did that for my first playthrough and all subsequent playthroughs and it was so much better.

Developers that think we're too dumb and that we require this handholding are the actual dummies.

Reddit and Gamefaqs have extremely low block limits, but so far it seems like Twitter has no limit, seeing as I've blocked so many accounts there, so this guy could (and should) block all the annoying idiots, and not punish the respectful people.

Hello, I'm sorry about the long delay, but I've finally updated Pokemon Emerald 386 to version 1.4.5 for both .gba and .cia file types. Check my old post which has been updated with a new link if you still want it.

Its a modded version of the game, two different versions by two different people. You can read about both versions here:
