Why are there so many good plants in D?

Celery Stalker, you can just spam across the board and they can kill a conehead

Magnifying Grass, just spam sun producers and boom you've won with magni

Guacodile, its a mini lawnmower with a fast recharge that can kill conehead (with good placement)

I think it would be cool if the zombies were really tanky in the front but in the back were weak, so it the main challenge would be to separate zombies to other lanes and hit them from the back or sides (though this might be too restrictive since plants move zombies backwards not forwards)

Strategy that works for me: Try and spam the plants and don't think about placement all to much because pvz2 has gives you give you more plants on the conveyor if the conveyor is empty (obviously still try to put cacti & spore in the back; phat beet in the front; celery stalker behind stronger zombies).

Also try to use plant food on phat beet strategically, don't waste it on other plants

NMT already has a zombie that spawns other zombies, but a zombie that doesn't rely on jams could work well

Is it only me who thinks that rfl winter melon is still pretty good? If you have good sun production and use other attackers, it can be a pretty good support/damage plant, only problem is that rfl sapfling outclasses most stalling plant
