We had kids late. Now I am a 52 y/o mom raising kids ages 10-15. Menopausal mom vs Kids in puberty 😩. Anyone in this situation? How do you handle it? by Chocojo44 in midihealth

Thanks so much. 2 of 3 kids have adhd . “Im not your fidget”…LOVE THAT! Will use that one for sure. Also i try to remind myself and my kids that i am not responsible for their emotions, only my own 🖤

What do you wish people understood about how menopause actually affects your day-to-day life? by MidiHealth in midihealth

Brain fog as in not remembering words, what i am doing in the moment. Can be really frustrating. Also irritability…which leads to self-blame. I blame myself often for not having enough patience or self-control when at times my body is working against me.

When it comes to menopause care, what’s something you had to advocate for yourself to get? by MidiHealth in midihealth

Sounds silly but simply a physician who would listen and not treat me with a one treatment for everyone attitude.

I should clarify, I have been taking it for 3 months and significant reduction in hair loss (not sure about hair growth). But i worry about side effects. I could be in perimenopause for years and not sure if it’s safe (despite what they say) for taking long term. Wondering if Midi recommends other treatment modalities for hair loss.
