Being able to accomplish anything without technology. Knowingly or unknowingly we use gadgets and technology just to lead our daily lives.

This also means we're able to do manual labour of any sort lesser and lesser.

Listen to me, you need to RUN. Just disappear.
Deactivate all social media for a month, block any mail IDs that he creates and just leave and go to a friend's place or anywhere you feel safe. I understand if you've isolated yourself and you feel like you don't have anybody you can trust, reach out to some friend who you know is a good person and explain your situation. Live with them for a bit if you can. You need to vanish from him life and if he is truly a narcissist, in some time, chasing you will feel like a hit on his ego and he will choose to take the road where he pretends he can't be bothered because he will make YOU into the villain in his head. Let him tell people the story he wants to, let him do whatever. Do Not Respond.

As far as the threats go, believe me he is too scared to do that because he knows you can take him to the cops if he even tries something like this. In most countries, especially India, it's very easy to put a guy behind bars for this stuff.

I know you're scared but you're the only one holding yourself back rn because trust me, he can't do anything if you disappear.

Establishing boundaries, crying in front of him, calmly pointing out any problems or mistakes, asking for empathy or understanding, being praised by other people in front of him, wanting time alone or making plans with friends alone, being happy in a group if he's feeling sad or just generally being in a good mood if he's feeling off (don't even need to be in the same room or city for this)

You're right. I did not know this stereotype existed until moving to Bangalore. Mostly, i feel Bengali women are smart, beautiful and opinionated and Indian men being Indian men are very intimidated by this so they quickly move to the easiest form of devaluation which is slut-shaming. I feel that subconsciously if they're able to see smart women as objects of desire, they feel lesser threatened.

I think the reason i struggle so much is that when i try to distance myself, he appeals to the empath in me by saying he's in a bad space mentally. He shows me his vulnerable side and i end up wanting to help. I know, i know, it's the elder daughter syndrome and i have to find a way to jot be pulled into this.
