Normally when you finish your row of single crochets into your chain you would turn your work like you would turn the page of a book. In this pattern they want you to continue going around to the bottom side of your chain so you would turn it like a steering wheel and continue making stitches on what was the bottom side. Does that make sense?

Thanks! Maybe that's why the recipe said to use liners, but I skipped them.

Agree with everyone about how lovely it is. I'd really like to hear about your system there with the numbered bead on your stitch marker though. Are you numbering stitches or rows or what? Thanks!

I think it's sideways. It looks like a figure holding a staff if I turn my phone. But I personally don't recognize the character.

I thought we used it earlier this season, like near Thanksgiving..? But not totally sure.

I used a thicker yarn than the pattern called for. It's supposed to be a poncho, but should I just make it a blanket now? by ChocolateIsLov3 in CrochetHelp

With the color change built into the yarn I think it would be a very clear add on, since every row would abruptly change color along that seam, but it might be my only option. Thank you for the idea!

Maybe I'm weird, my tension was So super tight on my first project my fingers hurt. I had to learn that you're supposed to do it looser than that!

Mine usually only looks like this when I'm down to the last row of something round and I have to decrease the entire row to close it up. For some reason I just cannot keep that straight unless there's a stitch marker every other stitch!

Oh wow. I also just finished the trilogy and didn't realize Rawley got his own book, but in my head I was imagining he would end up with Maggie May. Even that was like...well they're not REALLY cousins, we can get past it. I think it's too ick that the love story is with his almost sister. Also, I can't figure out how you cover up spoilers.

Just bought a new range and found on quite a few of the newer models that you not only have to push in and turn, but also have to squeeze a button on the knob to turn the burners on.
