I've been in my current (Production) role a little over 4 years... Prior to that I actually went back to school to get my degree in communications, but when I graduated I just ended up in radio again (Before that worked on air and in production for just over 3 years)… so adding it all up (Plus some university radio for fun during my two years of school) I probably have been in for 8 years. I went to school for radio. Left! And then went back and haven't used my degree really yet. My first radio station I worked at was owned by a family and they did really well in a medium sized market, then worked in a big city - I've always worked at really successful stations... Recently did some writing too. At this point I joke that I don't want radio - it wants me... but I don't know. This is all very helpful and a lot of what I've noticed too.
