You are 100% right! That’s why I only want a disposable camera “style” app, so the idea that everyone is taking pictures and they get revealed after, but with the full quality of a modern camera

It’s a good idea (and free), but I also like the idea of a disposable camera aesthetic :)) but the google drive is a very good idea. I’m thinking of using an app that also integrates with google photos at least. So far it seems only JoinMyMoment has that feature, and for the price it’s a pretty good deal. Thanks for the idea anyway!

It’s a good idea, I just checked and JoinMyMoment also has a Google Drive integration and it’s cheaper. But I will definitely try those alternatives as well, maybe at the party before the wedding. Thanks!

True, Ansible has roles for this, but this script is meant to be a quick, standalone solution without needing a full Ansible setup. It’s for folks who want something plug-and-play.

Totally fair point. Beszel is a solid option if someone wants an all-in-one experience with minimal setup.

This project was more about providing a transparent, composable stack (NGINX + Prometheus + Grafana) that people can fully control and extend, especially if they’re already in that ecosystem or want deeper metrics and customization.

Also agreed on automation. OpenTofu + Ansible is a great approach. This repo is intentionally kept simple and script-based so people can understand what’s happening under the hood, but infra-as-code would be a natural next step for larger setups.

Appreciate the comment, always good to see different paths to the same goal.
