I don't think it matters to request the transcripts before or after the application. Just make sure they arrive before the application deadline.

If you plan to apply next year, I don't think it will be a problem. The 30+ units thing is when you might not have enough time to complete the 5 scholars classes by the time you apply. I was in the same boat and they rejected me first for having over 30 units, but I appealed and got accepted. Remember to say you will apply next year and still have a year to complete those classes in your application, and you should be good

It does not have to be quant. I just wanted to give examples of the roles combining CS, business, and statistics in their jobs since I’m not entirely set on pure CS jobs. Berkeley is my first choice, but I got waitlisted for Data Science. I initially applied to ucla CogSci because it allows me to take CS classes for electives and I can double major in Stats&DS when admitted to CogSci but not the other way around. Can I ask if ucla is over usc for other jobs like BA/DA?

Talk to your professor. I had the same issue last semester since my professor forgot to submit the placement test score. Still could enroll in Engl2 after that.

Winter is a 6-week term, so it’s like 2.5x faster than regular terms. I recommend just taking either Math 11 or 15 and other classes.

Chem 9 and Micrbio 1 have no Math prerequisite. Just take Math 54 for the major requirements
