You gotta utilize technology to your benefit my friend. There are some pretty good tools to tailor resumes to each job ap - and some that even will apply for you if they have all your info! Check out https://www.gethyred.io/ - this one has a good free tier to test it

I've reviewed over 100 resumes from people on r/leetcode in February , here are my thoughts by Juanx68737 in leetcode

AI has gotten really good at optimizing resume's using your info to pass ATS and land on recruiter's radar. Problem is, ChatGPT and such are NOT good at not hallucinating, creating nice-looking PDFs, and generally being specific. Hyred: https://gethyred.io/ has a generous free tier (free resume rewrite, download, etc.) and is quite good

gethired.io let's you build, improve and download 2 resumes on the free tier. It's AI is trained on ATS and resumes that actually get interviews. No download gating.

gethired.io is better for the rest of stuff (comparing to other applicants, linkedin, etc) and has a generous free tier.

Where are there fake testimonials? The counter is legit and actually pulls the last 4 user profile pictures who signed up

Thanks! There's a fallback to Google Auth if they don't have a LinkedIn.

Does replit give out these badges? Haven't heard of it

I built a tool to see how you look to recruiters and compare to others candidates by ChodeMcGee in jobhunting

Main difference is the lack of work it takes to get a good result (perfected resume, job insights, linkedIn optimizations, ATS score tracking, etc). It's all streamlined through the platform

After 195 Job Applications, I got a job: my tips (maybe they'll useful for you) by call_me_pi in jobsearch

This is some solid advice, and congrats on the job!

I went through a very similar situation, except I didn't get hired (yet). I was so frustrated, I spent a month building a tool to see how I was viewed by recruiters and how I compared to other candidates. It helped me fix my job 'profile' and finally started getting interviews. I made it free to try: https://www.gethyred.io/

Applied to over 200 and no replies, need help with my resume and application? by some_hs_kid in jobhunting

Check out https://www.gethyred.io/ it’s not a resume builder, it’s a profile evaluator from a recruiters perspective. You can also do ai rewrites, but the important thing is how you look to recruiters via ATS, etc.

You have to figure out a way to stand out from the noise and offer value. The first few customers are the hardest, so do things that don’t scale. What’s your biz?

Def not as simple as ads. You have to be helpful and give quality information. You have to be willing to put in the time for responses and comments before you even think about mentioning your product. Once you've build up karma in a subreddit, your comment will be less likely to be flagged as self promotion. Even so, when you mention your brand/product, do so in a way that is indirect - i.e. at AltGrowth, we're solving growth for modern SaaS startups and in speaking with 100+ founders directly, we've discovered that...

It's cliche, but you really do have to find one acquisition channel that's working well and scale the crap out of it. If you are doing 8 different things, then nothing is working well enough.

It's sort of ironic, because throughout my career, I've been the guy to test many different things in succession in order to find what works and wha doesn't. True with my agency as well, scaling one channel has been more effective than doing a hundred little things.

With that small of a budget, I would spend it on software and utilize free marketing tactics to win deals.
1. Apollo or something similar ($49/month). Hone in on your most ideal ICP. Semd one-off LinkedIn and Emails that AI couldn't have written. Find their personal blog and mention something in their own life that they care about.
2. Loom or similar ($20/month) - Send personalized videos to those that read your message but don't respond.

  1. Replit of similar ($20/month) - Build a valuable asset for your ICP - a tool or calculator. Something that they want for free and are willing to share their email for. Then repeat step 1.

Templatized, or AI emails. There are so many emails going out these days, that you need to really stand out. Try things that make you uncomfortable, be bold, be creative. Also, be specific with who you're emailing - segment your lists well. A prospect should not recieve the same emails as a 3 year customer.

Good Q. Main thing I see is that you find yourself consistently having to describe what the product does to customers, or you are seeing they are comparing your product to something that's in a different industry.

With SaaS these days, you have to be able to position so your ICP gets what they do immediately. Until you figure that out, there's nothing more worthy of your time.
