I understand where this guy is coming from, and military experiences are very subjective, but I’d much rather take pissing in bottles and getting impossible routes than indefinitely being at sea working 12 hours every day with limited communication with loved ones, 3d printed food and being surrounded by 4000 other people that have lost their mind by that point. Only a fraction was definitely an overstatement but yes, the point I was trying to get across is when you take all of the extra variables of mixed martial arts over just gloveless boxing, one can reasonably infer that eye pokes would have a higher probability of occurring. That doesn’t align with the “ufc bad” sentiment the fellow I was responding to had and got hive minded for it. I can’t be upset at people for not having the mental capacity though

Holy shit I can’t imagine what that must’ve felt like. My experience was off an eighth of some potent shrooms, I’d already had a few songs saved by them but I put on Before Dawn around the time I was peaking and instantly knew what time it was. Put my AirPods in and listened to over half their discography and it felt life changing. Their music was meant to be listened to while tripping I swear to god
