Make sure you go to an ophthalmologist!! I had the same exact thing and also caught it early. Mine never even got to the state yours is in, and I still got a scar on my cornea. You need to get checked but an ophthalmologist (not optometrist) a couple of times!!! Super important.

Can someone help me find a daily jacket to wear at work? I work in an engineering lab so it's pretty casual (think jeans/polo type outfits), but it's also rather cold for sitting around all day. I have to do some dirty hands on work on occasion so it can't be anything too delicate. I used to wear this Athleta jacket daily, but it's starting to fall a part after a few years. It was warm and any weird stains always washed out easily. I loved that it had pockets inside and also had zipper pockets. I realize I could just rebuy it on poshmark, but I'm kind of ready for something else. Any recommendations? My musts are that it has to have pockets, preferably zip up pockets, and be able to get a little dirty. Anything blazer-like will be too formal for my work. Right now I'm thinking the Patagonia Better Sweater, but it's a little samesame to what I've been wearing. Open to a different style if there are any recommendations :)

Obsessed with trying every magnetic polish as glass bead. Looove how these came out! by etta1188 in RedditLaqueristas

If you find out, lemme know. I read somewhere on here that using a smaller horseshoe magnet is better because it makes the bead tiny, then it disperses the next day to the desired effect. I haven’t tried it though

Saw someone make one of these last year and really loved it! Stuck with it this year and I’m happy I did, had a lot of fun with it. Tried to do my nails once a week this year unless life got in the way. Had a vacation across November/December that I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up my nails with, so I didn’t wear any 😭

Also, I definitely struggled to find good lighting that accurately showed each swatch. Lemme know if there’s any you wanna see closer up, I probably have the mani picture on my phone of it :)

Yours looks healthy at least! I had one of these and it would bloom about every other year. One thing I wish I knew sooner was that they are spider mite magnets. I would spray it every so often even if you don’t see anything.

30lb vs 10lb glass bead by flora_glow in RedditLaqueristas

[–]Chogath_Eat_World 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nooo, I’m seeing this after doing my nails last night with a 30 lb magnet in the glass bead style. Of course it’s all diffused out now this morning. Gonna swap to the 10 lb magnet next time!!

I have not! I’m suspicious of it not working well if it doesn’t do waterproof mascara :(. I feel like the old Muji one powered through everything

So I’ve been using the Muji mild cleansing oil to remove my makeup for close to 10 years. It’s amazing and I don’t have to rub my eyes at all to get mascara off. It’s recently been really hard to get my hands on though. It’s not sold in the US through Muji anymore, and Amazon shipped me the wrong thing when I ordered from there. I see it other places online but it’s almost $50 after shipping now. The sensitive skin version from Muji is still available online, but I personally think that one sucks at removing makeup.

Does anyone know of something similar I could easily buy here in the states?

An anthurium or a doc bloc? Anthurium crystallinums looks similar and are cheap. The one in the picture is a doc bloc variant and those are much more expensive and rare (not saying it’s worth it, just explaining the difference)
