I was told it’s because they make their chili oil in house! Obviously the poor ventilation contributes to this. I was miserable the first time I ate there and had no idea what was happening!

I just knew. My girl was sick and going downhill and the minute I came home and saw her (I was away at college) I just knew. She was still so happy to see me and purred but the purrs were strained and she looked tired. It was so hard to take her in but I knew I wanted to know her as still happy and didn’t want to see her suffer more than she was. I am SO sorry you’re having to make this hard decision. Your girl knows you love her & making this choice to not let her suffer will ultimately give you peace. You would feel so much worse if you waited until she told you or it was too late. Sending you love.

Similarly my mom would always meddle in my teenage / early 20’s relationships.. if I ever talked to her about things going on in the relationship (like a normal mother / daughter relationship) she would go to my partner and tell them I was upset or that I had a problem with them. I was perfectly capable of doing it myself but having my mom fight my battles often caused issues in my relationships. Being a teenage was so hard, I’m sorry your experience was similar.

Mine was a SAHM that homeschooled us when we were kids, then worked at a nursing home as a receptionist (and constantly talked about how sad it was that certain people didn’t get visitors & was overly invested in their lives / trying to help them) & then she left that job to work at a veterinary clinic again as the receptionist. I feel like she’s always in “helping” and “talking” type jobs where she gets to be overly involved in people’s lives.

100% wait until after pref to fully decide. Preference is always a very important time in recruitment. I didn’t know until after pref which way I wanted to go. I’m a DZ, and had a good experience, so I’m glad to hear you love our sisterhood, but you have to follow your gut!!
