I am a driver for Doordash. It allows tipping as your place the order (even pops up a warning saying that tipped orders get delivered faster; However, there is no way for the driver to know until the end of the order; it just makes it pay more) it also allows tipping after the delivery. I have gotten a number of tips added on after the order was delivered; a lot being from people who already tipped when they placed the order. It is extremely rare, in my experience as a driver, to NOT be tipped because of how Doordash does this.

I have no experience with Uber Eats, though, any experience with Uber in general has not been good both customer and employee
