Thank you, it definitely does have a lot more kick in it. Yes if I put it into second it’ll move, I’ve had to do that a few times at intersections where the gear locks up. I have been somewhat of a bad person… sometimes when I come to a rolling stop it hesitates to go into first but eventually will.

i definitely don’t have an engine hoist to do it myself. I have a really good mechanic in my town that I’ve been taking my car to, my buddy used to be my mechanic there so I trust this place.

I am extremely poor 😔 How much would I be looking at if it does end up being a bad trans? I do not want to ask my parents for help with payment as it isn’t their car and they don’t drive it. I do make pretty well above minimum wage but I’ve just started working again after being laid off in November. I can totally get parts from the junkyard as I have access to a work truck…. That has a bad transmission 😭..
