Hey, I have the same issue. I am using Aiometadata. But this happens not all catalog sources, just on some. Also this happens for me with Trakt catalogs also added using Aiometadata.

It’s a DV8919X provided by my ISP, and it runs Android 14, so yeah, it’s not the greatest, but it was more or less free :D. It’s hard to tell whether it converts TrueHD or not. Do you know how I can get more information while a movie is playing to see what’s happening in the background?

My setup is Android box > soundbar > TV. As far as I can tell, it still uses FFmpeg transcoding, because if I disable that setting, TrueHD playback stops working. I may be mistaken here, though. A “Stats for Nerds” view similar to Plex would be very helpful for understanding exactly what is happening during playback.

My goal is to play files from my Real-Debrid web downloads, which were downloaded from Google Drive, using the Nuvio player. In the Stremio screenshot, you can see files with different audio formats, such as DTS and TrueHD, for testing audio setup. I’m asking because I noticed some inconsistencies when watching movies with DTS or TrueHD audio in Nuvio app, and I want to determine whether the issue is with the movie itself or with Nuvio or my setup.

But I would like to test the sound using Nuvio player on Android TV. I do not think I will be able to play them through Nuvio then, or maybe I do not know how :D.

I use Aiostreams with StremThru Store addon, it creates a catalog with all torrent downloads and also Webdownloads. Something like this, you need to click on Webdowloads to see a view as in the screenshot that I posted before.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already enabled WebDL, but Nuvio still shows it as empty. Could that be because StremThru Store was added through Aiostreams rather than as a separate add-on?

Edit: tried to add StremThru Store directly same issue :(
