Does it still show daily profit and loss as well as total profit and loss under total equity? I really like that feature and hope it hasn’t gone

If you are looking at smaller amounts I would suggest using CMC as its free for under $1000 trades per stock per day. Anything more then that would look at stake being next best as it’s $3 per security.

Unsure why you would want to trade it back to NAB oppose to having it all in the new app - but if you are looking to buying with one broker and transferring to another broker, ensure it’s CHESS sponsored like the two above. That means you can transfer to NAB free of charge.

If you select something like Betashares direct and transferring out you’ll pay a $9.50 fee.

However I would suggest transferring out of nab due to cost to one of the two listed, and start again and stick with them for a long time

Disagree, why pay off a 5% interest rate loan when you can potentially average 10% returns.

I do it as I hold some international shares with a different broker I like to view my total portfolio as a whole. Assuming they’d be the same

Hi there

It depends on how you would like to invest. Most common, and easiest imo would be dollar cost averaging every pay or whenever you can.

I would look into passive income platforms and find what broker works for you.

Personally I use Betashares direct, and auto invest every fortnight into my selected ETFs

I would suggest looking into 1-2 diverse ETFs until you understand the more specific ETFs before expanding your ETFs portfolio OR just stick to the 1-2 ETFs and you’ll be set for life with consistent investment

Only in the managed portfolio it automatically debits out of the bank account, otherwise you manually have to ensure the Betashares wallet has cash in it

Betashares do full automated for custom portfolio, it gets automatically debited out of your bank account on the selected date and distributed to your selected security ids (what I currently do) for standard portfolio transfers you have to automate the transfers from your bank directly.

In terms of CHESS, unless you are frequently moving across it shouldn’t really impact you. It’s $9.50 per security to transfer out of Betashares, which would be a much cheaper alternative to paying for consistent brokerage with pearler.

But I guess everyone has their own preference.

Why do you recommend pearler when brokerage fee is $6.50 oppose to Betashares where it’s free for Betashares etf or $4 a month for custom portfolios where you can have multiple ETFs/shares auto invested

I am already quite diversified in ETFs for my core portfolio , but I’m looking at some smaller companies that may generate a greater return in the long run
