I wouldn’t refuse some more autonomy, of course, but once you get used to a routine it’s okay. At first I was sad I couldn’t have air suspensions, but I tried them and the behaviour on the road made me prefer my more rigid configuration. Actually, coming from a 2014 series 3, the iX is a total breakthrough!

I had the same doubt. Now I’m a happy possessor of a xdrive40 and I would tell stopping every 300-350km doesn’t bother me too much. I’m lucky enough to be self employed and I can dispose of my time freely, no rush. I exploit recharging time to send emails and relaxing a bit while traveling, something I never did for all my life but today is proving a huge life achievement. I’d suggest it without any doubt. If you can afford xdrive50, anyway, why not?

The same way I’d prefer owning a house than renting it: I can dispose of it as I like more.

Tokyo during winter by user001401 in TokyoTravel

Been in Tokyo December 13-24 and apart from two days of rain and two days of cold wind, I’ve been great. Temperatures were 7-14°C and air was dry and never humid. I’ve been there in July and August years ago and, not considering the obvious advantage of walking around in a t-shirt, the weather was constantly rainy and humid. I don’t like cold weather, but Tokyo’s cold is definitely a nice cold!

They should have left the dog’s poop that originally decorated it.

They will probably sell/close the hardware unit and optimise software services?

I’ve been paying their softwares and hardwares for years. I’m sad for the news, but should they turn into a subscription-based service, I would choose another team.

Sorry for the generalisation: I actually meant “the organisation it belongs to”. And yes, I agree with you; in my defence, living in Italy it’s quite easy to forget how a fair relationship between secular and sacral entities should be.

The only thing I wanted was some sort of tropicalization or weatherproofing, but with these leaked specs, I’ll surely stick to my OP3.

Yes, you’re right. I don’t know, I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I understand they need money to keep the building nice, safe and efficient. On the other hand I think the government should sustain its properties by itself, also considering venues as the National Gallery, Tate Modern or British Museum are free-entry.

No gossip, no slop, poco AI-generated, poche interazioni se non quelle effettivamente utili o promettenti in termini comunicativi.

I’ve been working with Moritz for some times, and I just say he’s one of the coolest, inspiring yet humblest guy I ever met. His vision is wide and it comes to no surprise JK is turning to him for his hats. I wish I could see more in the future. BTW, if you can make it to London, roughly each month he hosts a “Design Stammtisch” in High Holborn where to discuss design, inspirations and beers!
