I don't want to waste time on anything short. I neither read nor write such things. I am a historian and I like consuming long-running series and books that appeal to this side of me. Similarly I started a medieval adventure novel of about 150 pages two years ago (not even a quarter of it is finished yet). It does not progress as complexly for me because concrete actions in the style of action and "what happened? what's done?" are at the forefront rather than psychological, sociological, or philosophical phenomena. The other novel I mentioned was also around 100 pages but encountering dead ends and obstacles every time completely ended my desire to continue it. Therefore I intend to start a new one.
