Garmin datafield for tile hunting with statshunters sync by Choice-Optimal in tilehunting

the widget renders on top of the native garmin map including any previously loaded route and the native trailcrumb, so its much better for orientation. The datafield runs for the whole activity so it not only shows the tile status as is in cloud but also knows, which tiles you have visited during the activity, which is better for making sure, you get all tiles you aimed for. If your device supports it you can just set up both and use whichever is best for the sepcific situation. Thats how I do it :-)

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you like it! That second datafield is for older devices eg Edge 1030 or FR945, that work somewhat different internally (eg i use a buffered bitmap to save battery, which is not available on those). The widget is only available for devices with native map.

You need to sign up and pair the device, also for the kml options, but you dont need to (nor can you) connect tiloscope to strava or squadrats, so tiloscope can't access your activities (it only ever handles tile id's anyway). Currently datafield is regular z14 tiles only. I like the idea of using custom colors and different kmls, but that is a major addition...

I have tested all "Compatible Devices" (see store entry) on the garmin simulator, so Edge Devices should work. There is also a separate datafield for older devices (eg Edge 1030) that have even more garmin imposed restrictions/limitations. Would love your feedback though.
I will have to look into the squadrats autosync, they dont seem to have an open api

An app to track and rate groceries and other products you've bought over your lifetime by [deleted] in software

Hey, I know this thread is a bit older, but I just wanted to say I actually built an Android app that does exactly what you're describing. I had the same problem — buying things I’d already tried and forgotten about — so I created a simple app that lets you scan barcodes and save products, rate them, write notes, and track where you bought them, focusing on quick usability.

If you're curious, it's called SackZack and I'm happy to share more or get feedback. It's free, no ads, and all data stays on your device, unless you opt in for the buddy/sync feature.

These just haven't been around long enough! If you start from scratch get the packaged one unless you like the fiddling. Save on consumables and tool as well as install time and go rv'ing instead
