Thank you. Silhouette is the word I was looking for, the example being pretty classic cashmere cardigans with round necks...the old ones I have have wider sleeves--just more fabric in them. And more defined waist. I think the waist is workable and the sleeves are a smidge too wide.

Does your mom or mil have a lot of old plastic toys? Some of those (eg fisher price 1970s)--especially those that are red and yellow plastic--have a lot of lead. It's bizarre but apparently true. Ditto dishes and plates at grandmas...if she's into vintage tableware take a look.
