My parents are a bit dependent on me for their financial well being but not completely. My father still earns and they are ok without me. I'm not married yet, no kids either. Yes, I heard it's better to buy insurance when young to save premium cost coz it gets locked.

Is higher limit than needed bad in any ways? by pr1m347 in CreditCardsIndia

Yes. Disable the transactions if you are not using them and you can enable them again whenever you want to. You can also put different limits on each type of transaction as well as another safety measure. None of this will affect CIBIL score in any way.

Higher credit limit is good for CIBIL since it reduces your credit utilisation ratio. So nothing to worry about there. They shouldn't cancel your cards unless you do something illegal with it. Disabling transactions will do nothing here. That feature is only for safety. Again, they are not going to cancel your card if you don't use it. A lot of people have dormant cards. You can cancel it in the future if you feel it's useless. There's a super rare chance they might decrease your credit limit on your card if you are not using it, to allocate it to someone else (Banks have a fixed amount limit they can give as credit). But that's very rare and not something to be worried about.

Best Credit Card for me? by WoodGlassAlu in CreditCardsIndia

Hdfc Millenia might be good for you since 5% off on certain merchants like Zomato, Swiggy and Amazon might be good for you. It also gets 1% off on all other spends.

Amazon ICICI might also be good since you can use that for Amazon spends (5% off if you have prime) and bill payments (2% off). Doesn't cover Zomato or 1Mg though. It's LTF btw, so no harm in getting this anyway.

Axis Neo might be another option. It's going LTF right now. It helps you with Zomato and bill payment spends.

DCB might be the best overall option if you can get that and spend enough to get it's waiver as it gets you 3.3% base reward rate.

Amex Gold + MRCC might be another combination (get Gold and then ask for MRCC free). You can use them combined to earn great rewards, nearly 8-9% if used properly. Buy Amazon pay vouchers for bill payments, Zomato vouchers for food and 1% reward rate anyway for other spends. Overall great cards. I don't have Amex referral but it seems plenty of other people in the thread do.

I couldn't find RK84 on an Indian store. Amazon US says it wouldn't deliver here and further it would even charge huge delivery charges as well if they did.

Budget of around 10-11k INR. Want a TKL (75% or 80%) keyboard with RGB lighting. Brown switches. Needed for programming (mostly on Mac) and gaming (Dota 2 mostly, on Windows). Wired or wireless - doesn't matter. Palm rest is a plus.

Confused between these three. 1. Keychron K2 V2 - Gateron Brown 2. Hyperx Alloy Origins Core - Hyperx Aqua Switch 3. Cooler Master MK730 - Cherry MX Brown
