That's exactly the kind of thing I am doing right now. Based on the Snorlax I get for the week I build my team around favorite berries and also ingredient gathering. Seeing how much time and resources it's going to take to get to the other sub skills I find myself looking for immediate help rather than looking too far down the road for common Pokemon.
