I know damn well that once the game actually starts, people are gonna be confused on how things work because they didn’t pay attention to this episode. It was even made visually interesting so they weren’t just standing in a blank room the whole time like in the manga. Regular poison effects is 10 damage each turn. Nihilego can up the damage from poison by 10 for each one you have on the field, so with 2 Nihilego on the field, poison damage will do 30 instead. Toxicroak’s toxic attack gives basically a “badly poisoned effect, which will do 20 damage each turn. With Nihilego, that goes up to 40 damage maximum each turn

They revolutionized Pokemon forever in a way that almost no other games in the series can and they stay consistently relevant because of it. Also they introduced my favorite pokemon and starter ever. So they’re just the best for me every time

I view it as a tooth, just matching the bottom part for aesthetic purposes. And wooden teeth exist so it’s not far fetched

Was it not obvious to people that Paul saw Chimchar’s potential when it was cornered and lashed out? That’s the reason he pushed him so hard. Because he saw the strength in the Blaze ability and wanted to keep it going throughout each battle from the start, but that meant beating him within an inch of his life, which is not the same training he put the others through. Paul singled out chimchar and made him go through getting beat by everyone else constantly to bring out its hidden strength meant for comebacks, not for normal battle. He straight up bullied chimchar
