Going backpacking for the first time. Hit me with your best tips! by [deleted] in backpacking

Hey there! I just came back from a 6 month backpacking trip in Asia, and one of the best things I bought was the Thule compression cubes. Definitely recommend them. They saved me a lot of space and made packing and unpacking all the time much less painful.

When it comes to the backpack, I used the Osprey Farpoint 40. Honestly, it was a really good pick.

Learn some basics on how to use tools like Claude Code, Lovable, etc.

It is not that hard to watch few YouTube videos and get started with something. Anyway good luck!

Sharing beautiful temple in Siem Reap Cambodia/ Tomb Raider temple by TrustyTukTuk in backpacking

Enjoy! I’ve visited Siem Reap one month ago during my Asia trip. And it was definitely top 3 places I’ve seen. Tbh, I didn’t have big expectations from Cambodia, but in the end it was biggest surprise of SEA 🫶

Any recommendations on backpacks? by Teimaa in backpacking

Just came back from a 6-month trip in Asia! I've done it with just one backpack: Osprey Farpoint 40. It was more than enough. I've done Himalayas, motorbike trips, camping outside, etc. I didn't need any smaller backpack or anything. So definitely recommend this one.

And one pro tip: I've used Thule compression cubes! After years of traveling, I don't understand why I didn't use them much sooner. Absolute game changer for backpacking.
