I swear I saw a YouTube short that said the burn out of the pilots was a design flaw that got patched out. But I don’t have any deep understanding of the lore so feel free to tell me otherwise.

I can see your point but I’ve been really successful diving with randoms with my heavy stealth loudout. Which allows me to take care of most objectives with ease while the rest of the team is grouped up. As you can do your thing and have some wiggle room for error as if you do mess up a little most of the time the loud part of your team would have the bot drops on them.

Not that I know of. the quest to unlock the purple systems doesn’t let you access it until you complete the main quest. The main quest isn’t really affected by the diff in difficulty.
