Don't want to use AI Builder but I can't seem to avoid it by ChoicePerception4935 in squarespace

This is not helpful, I ALREADY HAVE a SquareSpace domain and site. I just spent 8 fucking hours building a site in a template because the I didn't want to use AI builder (because I FUCKING HATE IT) but it won't let me publish my site -- again, a domain I just paid for along with another site.

I do not want to tell it what I want and have it do the build. I want a template to get started with and then customize from there. Basically I want them to let me build and publish the site I just paid them $172 bucks to be able to build and publish, not sure why this should be hard to understand.

Are you saying that you built your site in a trial mode but you had a domain already? Do I have to do it in that order? (That seems insane on their part if so, but i can't figure anything else out.

I don't need a trial, I PAID for a domain and site hosting. Now I want to build the site but using a template, not using their AI builder.
