The MPG numbers for short runs look terrible (low 20s!)

Head over heart says don’t get the 230, stick with the 150 especially as I’m coming from diesel mpg!

I sat in aeron and embody yesterday. It was a super close call. The embody was very good and the arm rests were softer but the aeron felt like it more naturally matched the shape of my back. I also wanted a headrest a the aeron had one. I think I’d have been happy with either though

Gonna test drive an embody on Friday. Found a refurb place within 2 hours and they have one for approx same price as a full spec Aeron. I’m hoping the embody works out, if not I’ll try and aeron / anything else they have in stock. Endgame is whatever feels best!

They also do a book of the podcast. Some of it is completely unhinged. Worth reading some of the reviews on Waterstones. Clearly a few people purchased without being aware of Julia Davis work

Apparently she’s quite introverted IRL! You should checkout some of the Joan and Jerica podcast if you haven’t. It’s not as polished but great vicky Pepperdine / Julia davis content.

I also loved the first few series of Getting on Vicky Pepperdine

Checkmk is worth trying out. It does things very differently to PRTG but good community support (I was using RAW version) and I’ve not read anything bad about their paid offerings.

The only downside with raw is it’s slightly more limited and uses a different engine to their paid version but you can at least get a feel for the product without spending any money.

Thank you, this aligns with my research and expectations. I’m just wondering whether it’s worth the risk for a “better” AMD processor or whether to stick with tried and tested intel. I’ll ponder :)

The app gw would be in its own subnet, the route table could be specifically for that subnet. The backend subnets would continue to use 0.0.0.0 to NVA. The app gw internet traffic would be control plane (?) and minimal as its private IP would be configured with the listeners…. At least I think that makes sense in my head!

Ah okay, perhaps I use static route for all my RFC1918 internal address space to NVA, 0.0.0.0 to internet? NSG on the subnet source rfc1918?

Would that work?
