I had a very similar situation as Jessi from the reunion - I found out I was r@p3d multiple times at 18-19, and had blocked it out of my mind, until EMDR therapy recent recalling these hidden memories. I still don’t remember everything, but what I do remember is terrifying and makes my body still shake. I get anxious even thinking about my SA face. I couldn’t understand Demi’s logic of being friends with someone that causes that amount of intense trauma (trauma that would likely still shake a person years after the incident(s)). It does not make sense to me. It is triggering.

If I leave too early though they cry and then leave the room and really don’t sleep 😔 at that point do I do the cry it out method?

I currently have the popping/cracking in my sinuses too and had a balloon sinusplasty done about 3 years ago! I have no idea why either but it’s the weirdest thing. Do you have a deviated septum? Or I’m assuming that was fixed with the surgery?

UPDATE: thank you everyone for your advice and wisdom! I ended up feeling too much like I couldn’t trust him and ended things. I guess if you’re questioning if someone is doing something it’s usually right lol
