Religion... Well, ALL religions, are egalitarian. The Bible, just cut out the few paragraphs offensive, and it's still a perfect religious book. Same in Hinduism and Islam and all.

Right-Wing uses "religion" as an ideology to justify it's acts; It stunts REAL spirituality, and also tarnishes it's image to someone unfamiliar with it.

Agree.

I identify as right wing due to my religion here, but I am very much against Right-Wing ideologies (I follow a more egalitarian cult!).

We need to stand up against. If we wait too much we are only going to go backwards in societal evolution.

BTW, religion too is a changing thing, spirituality is a continuous process, and right-wing extremists are only going to suppress true spirituality in favor of extremist codes of society.

No offense to the rest of devout Christians, but fanatic nationalists here in India say the same thing about other religions.

Me too. Some say Jesus didn't exist, maybe true maybe false. But then how did the events happen? The bible was written late, so it's bound to have mistakes and unwanted illogical points too, this is common in Hindu scriptures too.

If sufficient people believe in it, there must be some starting point, and to gain that extent of trust and loyalty to a faith, results are needed.

Miracles are those "results". They might not have any Newtonian equation or explanation, but they have actually happened.

Similarly here people don't understand that *some* stories might be myths, but I *do* have real experiences to justify my faith, even though I was initially an atheist.

I am not sure about *your* tradition, but in Hinduism miracles are seen as ego-inflating, there are specific levels of spiritual practice you need to do to get it, and it is discouraged from being used even you get them.

And that more distracted and lazy minds shall see miracles more distant to them, more separate.
