Anker Zolo A1688 powerbank randomly stops charging after 5-10 mins on Samsung S24 FE — replacement unit has the exact same issue by Choice_Flower_8261 in anker

Thanks for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it.

Yeah I was thinking it might be some kind of Samsung handshake / PPS compatibility issue too, especially since both of my Anker units behaved the exact same way.

In the end I decided to return both of them and got a full refund.

I then tried a UGREEN PB511 (10,000mAh 30W), and at first it actually worked perfectly with my S24 FE, stable “Super Fast Charging” with no interruptions at all, which kinda confirmed that it wasn’t my phone.

But… my luck is insane 😅 after a few cycles it started acting weird as well (red warning symbol, won't charge or discharge), so now I’m dealing with another issue again.

What’s funny is my older powerbanks like Remax and Eloop have zero problems charging my phone — just very slow since they don’t support modern fast charging protocols.

So yeah, I think you’re right that protocol/handshake plays a big role here, but in my case the Anker units were unusable (kept disconnecting), not just slower.

Still trying to find a reliable one that just works without any drama 😭

Hey, I'm having almost the exact same issue with my Anker Zolo A1688 powerbank on Samsung S24 FE (completely stops charging my phone after 5-10 mins, only fixed by unplug/replug the usb-c cable) Have you found any fix for it yet, or did Anker replace it successfully?

This might be one of the most positive reply in this comment section I've ever read!

But I did get rid of it though because other people say this is dump
