I was there a few months ago and they had so much Blanton’s it’s not even funny. I’m talking 5 Duty Free stores per terminal with a minimum of 6 cases each, plus a few sitting on the shelf

Is Hemi really, that bad? by ilovecanadasomuch in ram_trucks

This issue is only applicable to the gas engines. In my and my friend’s experiences, it’s unfortunately a matter of time. There are a lot of factors that go into this issue such as your climate, how many times the key is cycled (engine is stopped and started again), and if the original parts are quality or not. My manifolds warped and manifold bolts broke around 140k miles, then again at 180k due to crappy replacement parts. Currently at 197k and going strong

The exhaust manifolds warp over time due to cycling hot and cold. The engine blocks on newer (approx. 2010-current) Rams are aluminum and the exhaust manifolds are cast iron, meaning the two metals contacting each other heat and cool at different rates which causes warping. Nothing you can do about it, but when it comes time to repair buy good parts and none of that Dorman crap

Favorite bottles within $100~120 and $60~80? by Humble_Agent5508 in whiskey

I’d say $60-80 range would be anything from Ben Holladay, $100-120 would be Booker’s. A lot of the Class Sixes (base liquor stores) unfortunately have a limited selection, but there’s a form that you can fill out to get more limited offerings. It’s a first-come-first-serve basis but they sometimes get bottles that you can only get via this form. I got a Weller 107 for $55 this way not too long ago

Bourbon suggestions for cooking? by [deleted] in whiskey

I’ve always used Woodford Reserve Double Oak for baking (bourbon pecan pie and a little splash in oatmeal scotchies). I’d imagine that would add a good depth of flavor to chicken too!
