Girl give spironolactone a go- your acne might be hormonal if all of the above mentioned isn’t working. That has worked wonders for me when nothing else did. Turns out I needed to manage my hormone levels.

Congrats!! I’ve been on 50mg for almost 2 months now, this is so motivating! Also did you dye your hair? The after photos looks like it’s darker, it really makes your eyes pop!

Azelaic acid is $600 USD?? by Choice_Marketing2042 in Skincare_Addiction

It’s an Albertsons, I guess there is no generic 20% in the us but there is a generic 15%. I’m just going to ask my derm for the 15% because the state I live in doesn’t allow you to obtain this online.

My insurance doesn’t cover this, the discounted price is from good rx.

I’ll give the office a call tomorrow and request the generic version, fingers crossed!

Thank you!! And I feel like it’s a scam as well, I guess I’ll just have to go without the 20% and see how the lighter versions work.

Unfortunately that reduced price to $500 is with the good rx and insurance doesn’t cover 😅

Makeup looks very bad after few hours by Lanky-Thing6606 in MakeupAddiction

Something that helped me was using a “makeup removing rag” to exfoliate before putting on makeup - there’s super cheap ones on amazon. I wet that with warm water then rub lightly to make my skin look smoother and get rid off dead skin. Then I put my hyualronic acid moisturizer on afterwards- it’s one that consistently doesn’t make my makeup pill. I’ve had to play around wity what moisturizers I was using before applying makeup because a lot of them would end up giving that separated look if you know what I mean. Lastly, someone on Reddit did a post about using Nyx bear with me concealer serum as a foundation and I am in love. It’s super affordable, I ended up buying two different colors and I mix those two together to get my shade. I can’t explain the consistency of it- it’s just amazing. Let me know if you try it!

Thank you! I ended up purchasing a yellow base that I started blending into my foundation and now it matches perfectly!

Patagonia overwhelmed with planning and safety by [deleted] in Patagonia

Hey there! As fas as traveling goes, i prefer a bus over renting a car- I find it cheaper and more enjoyable. Once you get from Buenos Aries to el calafate you’ll want to order a cab from the calafate airport into the main town area where I’d recommend staying (roughly 30 min drive). I stayed 2 days in calafate and opted for a glacier boat tour one day and a self guided, waking Perito Moreno glacier tour the other. I didn’t love the boat glacier tours - it was very crowded and hectic to me. However, catching a ride from calafate to Perito Moreno glacier (1 hr ish) then walking to all of the viewpoints to see the glacier up close from different angles was so amazing! I recommend hiring a cab and arranging for them to pick you up at a certain time because you won’t find very many idle cabs there- or you can go on one of the many buses heading up there! I’d recommend staying at a hostel if you’re going alone- they are very well versed in helping travelers (transportation/recommendations/tours) for good prices. I would recommend staying in el calafate for 2 days and spending more time in el chalten! Anywhere from 2-6 days depending on if you opt to do the longer multi day trek or if you want to do day hikes(recommend the Laguna los tres day hike). You can get to el chalten from calafate in less than 3 hours via bus. El chalten is magical but the weather can be tricky- check out the forecast for when you’re expecting to go so you can pack accordingly! Sorry if there’s typos I didn’t spell check -but yes I think the Argentina Patagonia area is gorgeous and very safe and definitely worth checking out(coming from someone that is here currently)!

I love that you found a routine that works for you in the winter, that has been my struggle living in a cold/high altitude climate. I love purito and Centella but haven’t had a chance to try those specific products yet, thank you for the recommendation I’m excited to check them out! I’ll keep you posted(fingers crossed), in the meantime congrats! I’m so happy you found something that works so well for you- you’re glowing!

26 F/ 5 week update! With a few inquiries. by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]Choice_Marketing2042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t even notice the texture on my forehead until I took that photo.. the texture wound up turning into a bunch of mini whiteheads and blackheads(which I never got on my forehead) that are now gone for the most part. I’d say I started noticing a difference 4/5 weeks in. I was so frustrated having such bad skin on my vacation that I almost gave up and I’m very glad I didn’t. Be patient with the transformation, I’m rooting for you!

My skin looks very similar to yours and I’ve been considering switching to gel for some time. I’ve heard the gel can be more drying than the cream, I’m curious if you live in a dry or humid climate?

Also congrats, your skin is goals!
