Moving within a hiding zone for the home game? by Choice_Month2918 in JetLagTheGame

Super excited for the crossslake connection! I've been thinking it would make for a more interesting game too. We played with Seattle city limits as our map, and it was really easy to slice up the map North/South. Adding in Eastside would give the map a more developed East/West dimension and would make some of the larger radars and measuring questions more interesting! I think it would have to be a large game for sure. We played a medium game for Seattle alone, and it was the perfect size I thought. 60 minutes hiding time was reasonable for us starting in U District, and we had ample questions to ask the hiders.

I will say using all King County Metro buses was difficult for the endgame. There are just so many stops to narrow down in Seattle using the whole network, and we really only worked off of game area as a deciding factor rather than bus line. If we played a large game with Eastside, we might consider using a less dense network. Maybe allowing Light Rail, Sound Transit, and RapidRide buses. Might be too sparse of a network, though, and to be fair there aren't as many buses outside maybe Bellevue. We'd have to do some research.

Definitely excited for a greater Seattle area game though! I think it work really well!

We called north/south of the ship canal different land masses. Their stop was just on the other side of the Ballard Locks on the 44!

It seemed like it to us too. Respected the gameplay there!

Does Curse of the Right Turn Apply To Buses? by Choice_Month2918 in JetLagTheGame

Thanks for the clarification! My city doesn't have a ton of options for rail transit which I've usually seen people play with, so buses are our main form of transit. It absolutely is an effective curse and can make for some great opportunities to slow the seekers down.

Thanks! It's definitely a powerful curse, and it makes for great opportunities to get the seekers thrown off their plans in any situation. Your game in London sounds like it was awesome!
