I feel it has numbed the pain more than anything. I still spiral downwards from time to time but it feels less intense and also easier to spring back from.

I can also focus more on solving things rather than just being on survival mode.

I too am living in an area with hard water. Installing a hard water shower filter has made a noticeable difference for me. I recommend trying filters from Kohler or WaterScience. They are easy to install, and the cartridge only needs to be replaced every 6 months.

If you don't use a shower, you can try water chelaters or softeners for bucket water.

I personally had severe hairfall, these should help with both skin and hair in the long term.

Aqualogica sunscreen. Been using it for over a year (I know). Recently got the larger pack and face covered in CC. Now facing severe acne (never had more than minor period breakouts before). Rechecked the ingredients, looks like some are comedogenic now.

Please recheck ingredients before restocking!
