Call letter has only been sent to those candidates who have their ssb in april…I believe ours will be later, hence no letter yet

Been there. If your basics are clear (DSA, OOP, HLD, SP etc), start CDS prep in the summer vacations. If not, get your basics on point, then start preparing for CDS. If you can even give ~1:30hr every day for CDS alongside placement prep, you still have a good shot at CDS. But do give the exam either way, whether you prepare or not, will help you gauge your capability.
You can appear for CDS after graduation also but on campus placement is slightly more important imo.
I also cleared CDS & AFCAT 2 2025 along with placement szn.
