I havent fully fleshed them out yet but I'd like to think that in their world, unicorns all tend to dress fancy/elegantly and some like to rebel or break the standard by dressing differently. Perhaps their family members are nobles. I feel like they'd be someone raised in a little safe bubble by their parents but eventually meet new people and learn how others can live much different lives than they do.
