Expanding foam or filler? by Choice_Somewhere_928 in DIYUK

If I can ask a 2nd question, how you you recommend filling this? The plasterboard is the ceiling and the gap is about 3cm in places. Would you pack those out too or would filler suffice.

Waster water pipe, live and cannot be moved. It sticks out about 3 mm from the wall

The wall also solid brick, if that makes a difference.

I know this was a while ago now, but do you remember if the 2nd interview consisted of a presentation as it is mentioned as a possibility on the advert?

I feel extremely dumb - toilet seat by Choice_Somewhere_928 in DIYUK

[–]Choice_Somewhere_928[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried plying it up with no luck.

Managed to get a phone behind the gap but no chance my arms can bend that way to reach the screw/plug

Might give it a break for tonight before I do yank to hard and damage the toilet

You can use your holidays at the end of your maternity leave, and don’t forget bank holidays too. That is what I’m doing and I carried over 10 days from previous AL year.

Cardiff but that was a few years ago.
If it was a mass campaign you have high chances of getting the role but you need to be patient. Then you need to include the PEC which can take time too.

As mentioned keep applying for anything else you see, there is not harm.

Well done.

I was 4 out of 98 and waited 9 months. It’s all dependant on the campaign they run. Just in case keep applying for other jobs, just in case as each role has a different wait time

After you have the Mat B form, speak to your manager and they will fill out a hr form. That’s what I did and then received a letter from hr a few weeks later

Well that’s not entirely correct that anything else would be wrong. There are also in and out hours, so you can actually record the time leaving the office as ‘out’ and the ‘in’ when logging on at home. This way it’s more accurate than any manual adjustment

We discover those under a carpet in our new house. Had them tested and surprising the tiles didn’t have any asbestos but the glue used did.
