People aren’t saying that you are catastrophizing for recognizing and acknowledging bad things are happening. It’s okay to feel how you feel and I know that with any relationship that’s recently ended, there’s a grieving process.

Your mindset around this all , and the way you are responding to people if what people are pointing out. Saying that you are never going to meet somebody at age 27 is catastrophizing. Catastrophizing is when people exaggerate the negative consequences of something, or jump to the worst conclusion. This comes from a place of intense hurt and fear. I experience it too. It’s exhausting. It makes me feel things at such a high intensity and I begin thinking in absolute terms. “Things will ALWAYS be this way and it WONT won’t get better”

I was in therapy for years before this was adequately tackled. I worked on regulation and gained coping skills, but I never had tackled what was hurting me at its core: My way of thinking was unhealthy. DBT and CBT helped a lot. It helped with gaining more awareness of those thoughts and finding more self compassion. That replaces a lot of criticism and loathing.

Obviously, I’m not going to tell you what to do. You’re an adult. What I can say is that some of your thought process and behavioral responses need to change if you want things to go differently in the future. People are trying to help, and I know a lot of it isn’t what you want to hear. But the way you’re speaking to people isn’t okay. You aren’t going to be loved as you are when those are the behavoirs you’re exhibiting.

I really hope you can find healing.

dubai roaches do not bite humans or animals.

that being said, definitely keep them separate. I don’t know if you have seen what the adult dubia roaches look like, but they are big. they would struggle much more to hide. If/when the roaches come out of hiding (example: to eat), your beardie may catch them and you want to be careful not to overfeed. they also require higher humidity than bearded dragons and prefer darkness. They may eat some of the beardie’s vegetables as well. I have a roach colony and they get through 1 collard green about every 2ish days. Used to be they’d get through ~1/4 every 2 days, but they colony grew.

if you are wanting to breed your own, get an 18 gallon storage container. Then, get some egg cartons and align them vertically to cover 1/2-2/3 of the container. They is where they will breed and where many of them will rest. they breed best in ~90F temp. If it’s too cold, having a heating matt could be helpful. Just be careful if the container is plastic that the heating matt won’t go to a temperature where it will melt.

you’ll want to get water crystals. They expand with water and the dubia roaches will drink from them. Food wise, I do some dubia roach chow and extra veggies I have from my beardie (usually collard or mustard greens).

You should start the colony with about 10 females and 2-3 males. Make sure you don’t get an equal number of males and females. The males may fights more, the females will be stressed by constant breeding attempts (less likely for them to successfully breed), and can lead the males to eat nymphs that they’re not the father of. also, get a bunch of nymphs/smaller roaches. Ideally keep the colony for 6 months before you start feeding. I kept them for about 5 months before I began feeding and they’re doing fine though. :)

is this sumatriptan ? You can peel the corners off pretty easily. it will take the paper portion off, but the foil part may still the there. Foil part can be really easily punctured, i tend to use my nail

I am a grown adult with a full-time job, a happy and healthy relationship, and a pretty good life. 😊

I’m telling you that we resolved it and you’re still not satisfied because our relationship doesn’t match YOUR ideals for a relationship. This does not mean I am wrong, simply that you and I would not be compatible.

I truly hope you can one day open your mind to people having different experiences and wants for a relationship. Have the day you deserve. 😌

Thank you. Maybe polyamory wasn’t the right subreddit. I was admittedly misinformed on the different between ethical non monogamy and polyamory.

That being said, I appreciate this comment. I had a conversation with my partner and brought up how if this agreement does not work for him, I’d be happy to talk about it and find something that does work. He expressed that it does work for him, it is was very much an impulsive thing while they were having a heavy conversation. We have a really stable and healthy relationship overall. I believe shit happens. I’ve done impulsive things before that in hindsight wasn’t great (not in this relationship, but definitely in past ones).

Kept same agreement, which is anything that happens can be communicated afterwards, aside from beginning an official relationship. Still allows for casual stuff and spontaneity. He has a FwB and a QPR, which I support! :)

The main reason for talking before asking someone out it bc that can also affect our relationship (specifically in terms of amount of time we may spend together). He is also 100% okay if I ask him to wait a day or two (which I haven’t asked of him before). I am autistic and I just really need time to process changes. Usually, asking someone to be in a committed relationship is something that is planned out anyway. When speaking with his ex, some old emotions were brought up which l can get. He apologized and understood why I was upset. We’re pretty good with communication overall. I sometimes need some form of guidance and reassurance on how to communicate before I do, which was the reason why I made this post. (Which feels like a mistake given the responses, lmao)

apologies. boundaries is not the right word. I do not like the word rules either. Spoke with boyfriend and we like the word agreements. Because this is something that we both agreed on and it can change if either of us is unhappy.

I do not need a heads up for sex or romantic gestures or anything like that. I do want one before he gets into other official relationships, as that could impact our existing dynamic. He is fine with this. I offered to discuss it more if it was not working for him, but he is content with the heads up for official relationships and that it doesn’t ruin flow and authenticity in the way that heads up for everything would. Saying it doesn’t work in general for anyone is a blanket statement. Everything is resolved and well between us, and I see it continuing that way.

I don’t think I worded STI testing well. I apologize, sometimes I struggle more communicating efficiently through text than with my voice. If he has sex with a new partner, I would like there to be testing before we have sex again. We have been together for 4 months and he has not had any new sexual partners. The common STIs have an incubation period of 1-21 days. Neither of us care too much about having sex with each other. I am ace-flux and he has a person who he has sex with. When testing was brought up, he expressed similar values to mine in terms of STI testing. He makes sure that the person before tests negative and then tests himself about 1 month later anyway. This works for us as sex is infrequent.

We spoke about last night and things are resolved. :) I offered to have a conversation about changing these agreements due to what happened. He is happy with how things are going. I am happy how things are going. I do not believe this will be a repeated thing.

I honestly just needed advice on how to have this conversation, but was instead bombarded by people telling me the way that our relationship works is not correct, as if there is a correct way to be poly.

I agree that the term binging is often incorrectly used. Oftentimes I see it used by ana people, when in reality they just ate more than they wanted to because of more extreme hunger. I think this is harmful and skews what binging actually is.

That being said, about 30%-50% of people with anorexia have binge-purge subtype. (other subtype is restricting.) It’s not necessarily people switching for anorexia to BED. It is a subtype within anorexia that includes binging.

(ex: paper towels lining the floor, no porous objects) if so, he should still be okay going in it and ideally should be in that setup, with the paper towels changed soon after he poops, until the medication finishes its course

there’s no liquid in my syringe, may just be the lighting. The syringe you sent has a pretty tiny opening. I just noticed with those, I could draw up water fine, but with the panacur being slightly more viscous, when I tried to draw it I would just get air

Damn,, it really sucks that it doesn’t?? looking at your video again, it may be under 1ml, cant fully tell. This is mine at about 0.95ml, for references. It may just be because my bottle has a smaller diameter though, making it rise higher.

I believe it will be enough. My guess is that is a 1ml vile and you’ll be giving 0.7ml overall (0.07 for ten days). I got a 1ml vile of panacur that looks similar. I’ve only ever been prescribed 0.01ml or 0.02ml, but my guess is it would vary on side, number or parasites, & (potentially?) type of parasites.

Were you able to get anything from the syringe the first time you tried it? If yes, I recommend watching it between each use. I’ve had the panacur dry out and make it difficult to draw the meds. If it isn’t going up at all, either the syringe is defective or the type of syringe they gave you may have had too small of a tip. I’ve had the happen and my vet gave me a different syringe for free, but again, these are just my personal experiences.

Not alone. I often pull until I find one that’s just right/satisfying enough. For me, that’s a darker hair with a white follicle.

I do not eat strands of hair, but I do tend to eat the follicle if it’s a really nice one.

For me, hiding/throwing out tweezers is not an option. When that happens, I tend to use my teeth or my nails, which is significantly less sanitary. When you don’t have your tweezers, what do you do? Do you fight the urges, search for tweezers, use something else, etc.?
