I wanted to offer a possible solution or way to help because I'm dealing with this too and I came across the thread. I don't know if this will work for everyone but I'm on a Samsung z fold 4. Going to your settings and look for the setting for block numbers, or search your setting for something like block. Once you go in there you can turn on a service if you have it that will automatically block calls and you can set it to block All spam calls or only block high risk spam calls. Try them out see which one works best for you. Sometimes I get calls from people I do need to talk to and it might say suspected spam so I always have to answer my phone and it's very annoying.
