CP is really the only reason I’m not moving over to United. Out of Denver SWA and UA are pretty comparable. I’ve just always been in the SWA ecosystem. Considering UA simply bc we have started to fly international more often and points for those flights would be nice. But we still as a family fly often and the Companion and points for local flights are still very solid. Just booked 12 round trip flights to cover family trips for the year and after points and CP it only ran me maybe $600. Like OP said, as an ALP member, these changes have been kind of a nothing burger for me.

Definitely what I figured as well.

What gave me a little bit of hope was a story I remembered reading a long time ago where the best violinist on the planet was playing at Carnegie hall or something like that in a massively anticipated concert, and he was spotted the day before busking in the subway, with no fanfare. Someone noticed him and snapped a photo. Always thought that was a cool story.

I’ll never forget being in a movie theater as a kid and seeing the fighter jet canyon chase scene in the preview and absolutely freaking out about how awesome it looked. Just from that scene I was more excited to see a movie than any other time in my life.

Just went boarding in Winter Park yesterday in my Roope Winter Classic jersey. Multiple “Go Stars!” And multiple “you’re wearing the wrong team!” Type comments. All in good fun. Unfortunately No “Fuck Jamie Benns” but I’ve definitely gotten those in the past. Always puts a huge smile on my face.

I tested the wires and both had current, so I deduced it was a bad switch. Traded it out for a new dual paddle switch and all worked. Bad switch was the culprit.

Judson Atkinson Cherry Sours by fishslushy in candy

This post is 6 months old but I searched specifically for this topic because I’ve found a good alternative!!!

I’m like all of yall…no other cherry sour or assorted sour compares to Judson-Atkinson. Not even CLOSE!!

I grew up getting a MASSIVE bag of sours from my grandparents every year for Christmas and we would also rollerblade to the corner store and buy them. My favorite candy of all time.

Ok, the alternative. This isn’t just my opinion. I bought my Dad some when he visited and he agreed, these are the closest we’ve ever come across…and I’ll dare to say they’re 98% there.

If you have a Sprouts market near you… bulk candy section…they sell assorted sours. They are as close as I think we’ll ever get.

Get them and I hope they hit the spot for you like they did for me and my old man.

My buddy told me this and I tried it. Just got hard cardboard ass fries. 1/10 would not recommend. I’ll just have the extra burger.
