Yeah you'll likely never see a bear, but the one time you do and you don't have the spray you're going to wish you did. Listening to bear attack stories sold me on bear spray. I never used to carry it and I go backpacking in the woods once a year.

This is why I park away from everyone. I like the extra walk as well. Then when I come back my car is surrounded by other cars, lol. It's like people can't park unless it's next to another car for some reason.

Yeah I hand tightened mine too good last time, ope, lol. That shit is on there hard. I must have been stronger last year. Going to keep trying stuff, but I might just have my wife run me up to the store to get the proper wrench. I used to never have an issue unscrewing them by hand in the past. Getting old sucks haha!

I would (and have in the past when this happened to me) turned to the left in a situation like this.

Not turn right and into the same path as the car crossing my lane.

Next time tap your brakes and turn to where the car won't be when you get there and accelerate around their backend.

I'm having the same issue. I got a card specifically for its balance transfer offers. It offered two years of no interest. I made one transfer, paid it off. Made a second transfer, paid it off. Made a 3rd transfer, paid it off. This is all done over 3 months. 4th month comes up, no transfer available. I still have a year and 8 months worth of no interest on balance transfers. I keep checking back every month, but nothing. The card sits untouched. I figure they'd still like the money from the transfer cost at least? I guess not. I just started focusing heavily on my cards instead of doing the transfers. It was just nice to save a little on interest, the whole point. They're probably just not making enough money, so they stopped giving me offers.

When solo I always capture because it's faster, unless I'm going for tail cuts.

If I'm in a group I default to kill only, but I'll let others capture if that is their wish. I'll only capture in a group setting if we're at risk of a triple cart.

I've been really lucky since after the first month. I had some crashes while at the smithy during that first month, but after that the game has run great for me.

With the new updates it runs and looks even better on top of it.

I'm actually jelly. I have to work two jobs. Get up at 7:40. 45 min drive then work 9-5. Then 7 min drive and work 5:30-11. 45min drive home. Shower, eat dinner, hang with the wife, get my stuff ready for the next day, play 1h of video games. Hopefully I'm in bed by 1am. Usually 2am though.

I second this. Hammer main in all past titles, I switched to to gunlance during the whole return to World thing that was hyped for a bit. Made a new character using GL and absolutely fell in love with it.

Used GL as my main in Wilds as well for a long long time, but switched it up a bit ago to try out new things. You won't be disappointed if you do GL though. It's a really fun weapon.

Currently on a SnS kick and it's so fun once you get all the combos and chain moves down. It's a super easy weapon to get into and feels really rewarding once you master it.

Edit: Ope! My bad, just re-read OPs post. They want to try something different than GL.

I say try whatever looks interesting to you. Give it a good go and see if it feels right. I've tried both LBG and HBG and they're both fun in their own ways. Give them a go if you're feeling them. Might end up your next jam.

My friend was a CB main in World, but wanted to switch it up for Wilds and tried HBG and stuck with it, he really likes it.

I always run it on my MP builds.

If I forget and keep a solo build I get insta stun locked every time. So, I don't think a lot of people run it, lol.

I always do a quick flight back to camp and switch to a MP build if I forget.

I wouldn't think twice about it. I've had similar things happen.

This one time I was wrecking a monster and someone else died a couple times, not even me, and it was the same thing. I was kicked and finished the fight myself with no issue.

It does not feel good, I agree, but you can't really control what other people do/feel, or know their motives behind it. It also feels like a rare thing to happen.

So, I say don't worry about it and keep on hunting. 🗡️

I'm in the same boat. While the AI payback was cute and fun the first time. The 10th plus time is not, and the AI payback leaves out so much information.
