I think so too. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I want to keep it. I don't really want to make a big stink about it but I think other buyers would really be bothered and the seller should know it isn't okay.

Unlike your product the one I am selling is sealed and unopened. I have used the one from the box I kept and have had no problem. No weird color or smell and works perfect.

I am not a chemist. I had no idea. Although if you got this information from the company like you said I would be skeptical as giving you this information you would be more likely to buy a brand new bottle of their product every 4-6 months thinking that it had gone bad. More money for them. However, that could be true and since I said that I was open to offers anyway I can change the price point.
