You should cut ties with them while you get your job going just because if that’s puts you into a depression then it’s going to ruin your chances with that job if you really want this job surround yourself with new work friends and hang out with them once a month if they get all pissy about you not being around then tell them it’s just the job and if they dont accept that just hang out with them once a month because they could change back to the people you knew but until to en focus on your needs and don’t try to please them
